Title: Courier service driver (NOC: 7414)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Day

Salary: $1,100.00 Weekly for 45 hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Edmonton North, Alberta (3 vacancies )

Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable

Experience: Experience an asset

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Travel Experience: Local

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Pick-up and deliver various items and products, Load and unload goods, Plan travel schedules and routes, Use maps and other trip planning aids

Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service, Receive and relay information to central dispatch

Security and Safety: Bondable, Basic security clearance, Driving record check (abstract)

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Physically demanding

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Own vehicle, Valid driver's licence

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Continuous learning
